               Natural Home Remedies: Insomnia

    In Insomnia or sleepless disease (Insomnia), the patient does not get enough sleep.Insomnia is difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep and is often considered chronic if it happens at least three nights per week.There are many medical conditions that can lead to insomnia.

    Insomnia is caused by stress, sleep disorders, medications or medical problems. Sleep disorder symptoms include inability to sleep, sleepiness, worry . Insomnia can become a real nightmare as the clock ticks on into the night and Patient are awake to notice.Most of us experienced insomnia many times ,almost everyone knows what it feels like.In fact 50% of American's experience sleep problems every night.The duration of insomnia is important.Because of inability to sleep a patient feels mood disturbance such as irritability ,Behavior problems, such as feeling impulsive or aggression.

      Types of Insomnia

     There are different types of Insomnia :-

      1.Acute insomnia

     2.Chronic insomnia

     3.Comorbid insomnia

     4.Onset insomnia

     5.Maintenance insomnia

    1.Acute Insomnia 

     Acute insomnia is usually caused by a life event, such as a stressful change in a person's  life like Person's job, receiving bad news, or travel and by many other personal issues.acute insomnia resolves without any treatment.

    2.Chronic Insomnia

    if a person has trouble falling asleep or staying asleep at least three nights per week for three months or longer,is called Chronic Insomina.

    3.Comorbid insomnia

     If insomnia occur because of psychatric Psychiatric symptoms such as anxiety and depression is called Comorbrid insomnia.

    4.Onset insomnia
    Difficulty falling asleep at the beginning of the night. 

     5.Maintenance insomnia

     People with maintenance insomnia wake up during the night and have difficulty returning to sleep.

     Symptoms of Insomnia

    • Difficulty falling asleep

    • Difficulty staying asleep (waking up during the night and having trouble returning to sleep)

    • Waking up too early in the morning

    • Unrefreshing sleep

    • Fatigue or low energy

    • Cognitive impairment, such as difficulty concentrating

    • Mood disturbance, such as irritability

    • Behavior problems, such as feeling impulsive or aggression

    • Difficulty at work or school

    • Difficulty in personal relationships, including family, friends and caregivers

    •  Lie awake for a long time before you fall asleep

    • Sleep for only short periods   

    • Be awake for much of the night

    • Feel as if you haven't slept at all

    • Wake up too early

      Home Remedies To Cure Insomnia

      1.If you want better night's sleep take a bucket and  fill it with lukewarm water and dip your both legs  inside the water for 15 minutes after that clean your legs and immediately lay down on bed.

      2.For Good sleep  keep your  feet warm at bedtime.

      3.For sound sleep massaged your soles of the feet with mustard oil for 10 minutes and immediately  lay  down on bed.

      4.At bedtime drink warm milk for sleep better.

      5 Take 1 glass of hot milk and add 1 teaspoon honey and mix it . Drink it every night before bedtime.

      6.Take 1 glass of hot water and add 2 teaspoon honey and mix it . Drink it every night before bedtime

      7.Take 1L of water add 1 tsp of aniseed then heat the mixture for 15 min Strain the mixture. Drink   when it's hot

      8.Take a 1 glass celery juice and add 1 teaspoon honey then mix it properly.Drink it every night before bedtime.

      9.Take  a pulp of ripe banana and some cumin seeds, fried cumin seeds then grind it in form of fine powder then mix it properly.Eat it every night before bedtime.

      10.Eat bottle-gourd vegetable in any form ,It cures insomnia.

      11.Take some seasame oil and 1 tablespoon bottle-gourd juice mix it.Rub your scalp daily with this mixture every night before bedtime.

      12.Rub one tablespoon curd on your forehead ,every night before bedtime.

      13.Take balance diet rich in Vitamin B,Zinc,Magnesium,Vitamin C,Calcium,Vitamin D.They cure insomina and sleeplessness.

      14.Don't Take excess Tea and coffee,it leads to insomnia.

      15.Do yoga and meditation regularly.

      16.Do not take sleeping pills.They are not good for your body and reduce your mental strength and intelligence.

      17.Eat food like Banana,yoghurt,salad and green vegetables it help to cure insomnia. 

      18.Make a tea using ingredients like 1 teaspoon honey,milk and half  teaspoon aniseeds.
