Anemia Causes Symptoms Treatment, Diet, &
1.Soak two dates in a cup of milk overnight. The next morning, eat the dates and drink the milk on an empty stomach.Helpful remedy for Anemia.
2.Soak two tablespoons of black sesame seeds in water for two to three hours. Strain and make a paste of the soaked seeds. Add one tablespoon of honey and mix well. Have this mixture twice daily.
3.Combine two teaspoons each of blackstrap molasses and apple cider vinegar in one cup of water. Drink this once daily.
4.Soak the sesame seeds in some water for two to three hours and then grind them into a paste. Have this with a teaspoon of honey every day.
5.Eat a handful of raisins and one or two dates for breakfast or as a mid-meal snack.
6.Boil half a cup of spinach in a cup of water to make a soup. Add your favorite seasoning to make it tasty. Have this soup twice a day.
7.Drink a glass of tomato juice every day.
8.Make tea using parsley. Pour hot water over parsley leaves, steep for a couple of minutes, if required add a tsp of honey and have this herbal tea twice or thrice a day.
9.Soak 2 dry dates in a cup of milk overnight. Eat the dates in the morning on an empty stomach. Do not discard the milk, drink this as well.
Treatment for severe iron deficiency anemia
10.Soak 1-2 dates in a cup of warm water for 2-3 hours. Drink this water once it cools down. on the other hand This is specially good for people who are lactose intolerant and cannot have milk or milk products.
11.Drink 1 tbsp of apple cider vinegar in 4-6 ounces of water prior to every meal.
12.Eat at least one apple daily. If possible, but opt for green apples and eat them with their skin.
13.Eat one ripe banana along with one tablespoon of honey twice daily.
14.Cook one cup of rice with two teaspoons of fenugreek seeds. Add some salt and eat it once daily for at least two to three weeks.
15. Soak 8-10 almonds (badaam) and 1 teaspoon rice overnight.Remove outer skin of almonds and grind to a fine paste .Boil with 1(1/2) cups of milk and a pinch of turmeric powder(haldi).Sweeten with sugar and drink for a few days,once a day.
16.Soak 10-12 munakkas in water overnight.In the morning remove seeds and eat .Do this for 2-3 weeks.
17.Almonds contain copper, which along with iron and vitamins act as a catalyst in the synthesis of blood haemoglobin.Hence consumption of almonds is a sure shot remedy for anemia.
18. Drink Juice of 125gm spinach every day,for 2-3 weeks.
19 .Consume 300 ml of grape juice daily can be beneficial in cases of anemia.
20.Pomegranate juice is very beneficial for anemia and improves the quality of blood .Add some powdered cinnamon (dalchini) and cloves (laung) to the juice.
